Cheryl Osler is the owner of Healthcare Compliance Northwest. Her experience in the field of legal nurse consulting brings clarity and accuracy to complex legal and medical issues. She has been a nurse since 1988, and her clinical nursing experience covers a broad range of healthcare specialties, including psychiatric, obstetrics, oncology, and geriatric nursing. In addition to performing direct patient care for over 21 years, she has taught for more than 19 years at various levels within nursing and psychology programs. Furthermore, Dr. Osler is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and owned a counseling practice for eight years specializing in Biofeedback, Critical Incident Stress Management, Disaster Response, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction disorders, and depression, for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.   

Dr. Osler has been a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant since 2005. She is highly skilled in performing research, conducting analyses, completing detailed examinations of medical records, and developing comprehensive legal reports in an IRAC (Issue, Rule, Analysis, and Conclusion) format. These skills allow her to provide clients with well-thought-out evidence-based conclusions on medical issues. 

Presently Dr. Osler is an associate dean of nursing at a community college, serves on two nursing boards, and is a national nursing program accreditation evaluator. She is a respected member of the medical community and maintains a vast network of contacts that includes doctors, nurses, and other medical experts across a variety of disciplines. This advantage, combined with her commitment to identify and secure the best medical expert consultants, has proven invaluable to allow her clients to strengthen the credibility and position of their cases. Her understanding and passion for medicine and the law will enable her to bring a clear perspective and a unique depth of knowledge to clients.
